Essential Oils: the most oxygenating substances on earth

Essential oils were widely used in the ancient world. At the time of Jesus, some essential oils were more valuable than gold. The Bible (Matthew 2:11) describes gifts to Jesus of frankinsense and myrrh, in addition to gold. Frankinsense is a powerful essential oil, one of several which are able to cross the blood-brain barrier. Many doctors claim that it can shrink tumors and perform other "miracles" that are compatible with its Chi and oxygenating ability. Myrrh was used in the ancient world as an mixing oil and stablilzer.

Essential oils are rich in Chi, and they have been known for centuries for their restorative properties for mind, body, and spirit. They are now becoming more widely used in the West, as much of the knowledge of their use had been lost over time, and was limited to a small number of scientists living primarily in Europe and the Middle East.

Appendix F of the Essential Oils Desk Reference is titled "ORAC Research." ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) is a measure of a substance's ability to fight off dangerous free-radicals. USDA researchers measured the ORAC value of many antioxidant substances. A high ORAC number is best. Of the Essential Oils tested (just a single drop is a powerful anti-oxidant), the ORAC values ranged from 69,000 to 1,078,700. By contrast, foods such as blueberries had an ORAC value of 2,400 and carrots had an ORAC value of 210. There is another anti-oxidant measure, called S-ORAC, which is described in the NingXia Red section below.
